Wraparound Training Is Now Available From SAFE WABy attending the Wraparound Training, you will learn a team based approach to working through issues and problems that affect the entire family, not just the identified child. Treating the identified child does little to nothing for siblings, parents, and even family friends, who are affected by particular behaviors or issues of the child. Wraparound is the best new idea to come along in quite some time, so we encourage everyone to attend this training. The family that is helped may be your own... Presenting Organizations: Target Audience: Parents/Caregivers, Parent Partners, Parent Organizations, Certified Peer Counselors Description: This training teaches and demonstrates the necessary skills and techniques needed for a team based approach to serve the family. It brings parents/families into the decision making process, and also streamlines the to-do list from various provider agencies. By involving all systems that the family may be working with at the same table, stress and pressure on the family can be greatly reduced. This increased collaboration and integration of services greatly increases the number of successful outcomes for families. Length of Training: 1 1/2 to 2 full days. I am More Than My Diagnosis
