What Can SAFE WA Do?

- SAFE WA provides connections to existing parent and youth organizations, or Community Connectors across the state to help others find resources, navigation services and find support. If none exist in the area of need, SAFE WA works creatively to make sure someone is available in person or by phone until the need is met.
- SAFE WA offers parents/caregivers a free weekend retreat with trainings, an opportunity to relax, and meet other parents across the state.
- SAFE WA represents a united voice of parents to policy makers and on Boards and committees by encouraging, training, and supporting parent participants.
- SAFE WA offers many trainings to our system partners and other interested community members.
- SAFE WA provides scholarships to parents/caregivers and youth for conferences and other trainings.
- SAFE WA provides mini-grants and technical assistance to members and start up groups.
