Membership: - Includes SAFE network members, SAFE board members, and invested parents, caregivers, youth, and community partners.
- Members responsibly represent and effectively communicate with their constituency.
- Members commit to attend every activity, meeting, and event or provide an alternate if not able to attend.
- Members are willing to represent SAFE on various internal and external committees.
- Members provide data and/or evaluation information that are required and/or support the existence of SAFE.
Products: - An annual strategic plan
- An annual report to the network and other stakeholder partners
- A quarterly newsletter
- Timely position papers as warranted
- Semi-annual retreat
- Facilitate an annual parent/caregiver/family conference in conjunction with Washington Community Mental Health Council including trainings that demonstrate working partnerships with various stakeholders (i.e*. universities, communities, government)
Outcomes: - SAFE will contribute to and enrich the lives of families and the communities that surround them.
- SAFE will ensure educated and informed parents, caregivers, and youth with diverse cultures and experiences will actively participate on stakeholder boards, committees, and workgroups.
- SAFE will offer, provide, and deliver state of the art information, materials, and trainings to parents, caregivers, youth, families, communities, and other stakeholders.
- SAFE will consistently gather and use information and data to acquire funding and improve programs.
- SAFE will proactively educate and inform legislators and policy makers on issues affecting parents, caregivers, children, and families.
- SAFE will foster healthy cultures of communication and partnership that ensure our sustainability.
